Rhys Norton
Bachelor of Physiotherapy
Masters Sport and Exercise Science



​I graduated from Otago University in 2014 and have over 10 years of experience in various clinics across Wellington and Hawke's Bay before recently moving to Waiheke. I completed a Masters degree at AUT in 2021, where I developed skills and knowledge to combine physiotherapy and strength and conditioning principles. I am also trained in Dry Needling, cupping and breath practices such as the Wim Hof Method and the Art of Breath by Brian Mackenzie. Outside of work, I am a husband and father to two beautiful little girls. I love family time, getting outside into the bush or to the beach, being active with my own exercise regime, walking, doing jiu jitsu or playing tennis. 

​My philosophy of physiotherapy is to look at the entire person, to look at various factors that can be major factors in pain, injury and recovery such as nutrition, exercise, sleep and stress. I use a combination of hands on physiotherapy techniques (such as massage, needling, cupping and manipulation), exercise prescription (strengthening, mobility, fitness etc.) and lifestyle management (nutrition, sleep, stress management) to get the absolute best results for my clients, not just for their current injury or pain, but to create a more balanced, durable, healthy human for the future.

I offer an online health and performance coaching programme for clients that really want to optimise and thrive in every aspect of their health and performance. This can be tailored for athletes or for clients that want to feel and perform at their best for whatever endeavors they are pursuing. We work together to dial in nutrition, sleep, training and recovery.
